Faloda

Faloda

Bnei Menashe recipes, which are very familiar to those who are accustomed to Indian food, are not very exacting. The best way to really learn them is to stand in their kitchen and watch… Nonetheless, it’s worth giving this faloda a try. In the photos you can see a group of international university students, on a Jewish cultural trip in Israel, at their Acco stop where they got to sample several Bnei Menashe delicacies including the refreshing faloda.

Faloda
1/4 cardamon
1/4 saffron
5 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp any nuts/raisins
4 1/2 cups milk

Cook all ingredients and serve warm or cold in a bowl.
